About Arrival Survival

The University plans and prepares months in advance for your arrival and the arrival of 7,900 students, their parents, and all of their belongings on Pitt's Oakland campus. Our planning is done with one goal in mind: to ensure your arrival on campus is as pleasant, seamless, and stress free as possible.

We want you to embark upon your journey to Pittsburgh with the confidence that you know where you are going and what to do once you get here. There's no need to try to navigate on your own! Use this site to find out what is open on campus during Arrival Survival, move-in procedures, what assistance is provided to you, what to bring with you and what to do while you are in Pittsburgh.
